Responsibility in the use of electronic resources contracted by the Library
The Library acquires electronic resources for its university community and for these to be used for academic purposes.
The license agreements signed by the Library establish the following:
1. Access is restricted to members of the university community.
2. Access is not authorized for profit or for the development of activities other than those of the university environment.
3. Users are authorized to print, store and copy the information for educational and research purposes.
4. The copying or storage of the entire product is not authorized.
The Intellectual Property Law (Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996) establishes:
It is lawful to include fragments of other works of a written nature in your own work [...] provided that their [...] inclusion is made by way of quotation or for analysis, comment or critical judgment. Such use may only be made for teaching or research purposes, and indicating [...] the source and the name of the author of the work used [Art. 32. Quotes and reviews]
