TUT4IND
TUT4IND (Training University Teachers for inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities) is an Erasmus+ project in which partners from Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Serbia work together to promote the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities in higher education. To do this, it is necessary to provide adequate training and support to higher education teachers as well. Therefore, within the TUT4IND project, a teacher training programme will be developed to adapt curricula and topics as well as possible to the needs of students with intellectual disabilities. In doing so, they will create a virtual learning platform to promote international exchange of good practices as much as possible. The ultimate goal here is to increase the autonomy, self-esteem and employment opportunities of people with intellectual disabilities and thus to raise their inclusion to an even higher level.
