Elisabete Mendes

Assistant Professor in the department of foreign languages at the School of Education-Polytecnic Institute of Bragança, Portugal. She is a researcher at ULICES (University of Lisbon Centre for English Studies) since 2005. Her main areas of interest include Culture studies, English Culture, History of Ideas, Political Thought and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). She co-edits Teaching Crossroads since 2012.
